John 8:8-9 "Again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there"

James Tilton: Thoughts on football, wheelchairs, and skid row...

Heads. Tails. Tails. Tails. Heads. And with each flip of the coin, we crossed out another team. Heads. A dark line right through the Broncos. Tails. Peyton Manning and his Colts would have to keep winning without me. Heads. Thank God I don’t have to join Raider Nation. A highly anticipated flip and its corresponding line until only one team remained.

Walking with Men and Angels: The Skid Row Story

I was talking to a friend recently about her working at the Dream Center down in L.A. for the summer, and it reminded me of an experience that has made an impact in my life even to this day.

“This is the story of a single day. A single, shape-shifting, life-changing, perspective-altering, never be the same kinda day.” – Sean Carasso

When we look at our world today we see so much hurt, pain, death, and it can be so overwhelming when looking at it as a whole.

Uganda Update and Prayer Need: Brennon Bloemendaal

This is what is going on with my friend in Africa, he sent this to me on facebook and I feel that more people need to hear what is going on. He went there on his own, with just a passion for the people of Africa. Support him in anyway that you can. He is a world changer.

Hello friends, I hope this message finds you all well! I am writing you to update you on what we are doing here in Uganda, and what we are planning on doing in the very near future.

Stretching and Molding

Stretching and Molding

So I know it has been some time since I last posted something but it’s been a crazy last couple of weeks. I have been working hard on baseball and school so my free time is close to nothing and the little free time that I do have has been dedicated to sleep. But I am going to take a break right now and share the things that I have learned from all my craziness.

Artist Interview: Brandon Wronski of Eye Alaska

I have posted Eye Alaska as one of my favorite bands of 2009 and now I have been fortunate enough to have an interview with the lead singer Brandon thanks to a good friend of mine, D'ette Bolton. After the interview I realized how deep these guys really are. I hope you enjoy the interview as much as I did and support them in anyway possible.

Artist Interview: Alex Miller

So i have a few friends that are music artists and that are young and very talented. I decided to send them an email interview just to see where they were in their music journey. Another reason was to promote their music to my readers. So check these guys out and support them.

Into the year

So I know that I have not written in a while but getting back to
school has been kind of crazy. Things are good here in Santa Cruz,
(for those who don’t know I’m going to school here at Bethany
University). Also baseball is getting going and classes are rolling.
Coming back to school this time around has been a lot better because I
am with people that I know and not in a new environment. Even though
there have been a few difficulties at the start of the semester it's
nothing that God can’t handle.

With the start of this year I am seeing more opportunities to be

Rebecca Runner from Haiti

Thank you for your prayers. Please keep them coming. I am now the P.A.O. (public affairs officer) on my boat and as of today I know what is really feels like to be a journalist.

This morning I was asked to go to the bridge and take a picture of something floating in the water. Well... when I zoomed in I soon found out that it was a body. I was a little shaken after that but soon got over it.

Long Live Love

by Brennon Bloemendaal

"Love can't be stopped. Grief is proof that love prevails over death. You cannot kill love. I'm not talking about the pervasive counterfeits we so often call love. But the kind that fables like 'The Princess Bride' speak of- 'true love'. The kind of love that lasts beyond life, that does not end with death, that fills you when you breathe deeply of it and wounds you when you lose it. Love is the most powerful force in the universe."

- Erwin McManus, "Soul Cravings"

So what is love?
